Everyone is always very welcome to join one of my weekly group classes in Curaçao, but sometimes a private yoga session is exactly what you need. For example, if you want to try yoga but aren’t sure where to start, or if you are looking to deepen your practice. In a group class, you often move at the pace of others or the whole group, and the instructor’s attention is divided among everyone. This can make it more challenging to truly connect with yourself and discover what your body and mind need. Private yoga, on the other hand, is fully tailored to your body, breath, and energy, allowing you to enjoy my undivided attention.
When to Consider a Private Session
- When you need more flexibility: Schedule your sessions whenever it suits you, without being tied to a group schedule or location.
- Personalised attention: Each session is adjusted to your needs, for example, if you have injuries, stress, or specific goals.
- To deepen your practice: You have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about techniques, modifications, or the background of yoga.
- Learning adjustments: In a 1-on-1 session, we explore the right modifications for your body, which you can then apply in group classes or your own practice.
- At your own pace and level: Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, everything is tailored to your preferences.
- Location of your choice in Curaçao: Practice in the comfort of your own home: on the porch or under the palapa, or by the sea, at your vacation rental, in my home yoga space, or anywhere else where the energy feels right.
- Guided support: Attention is given to correct alignment, breathing techniques, and relaxation, making each session meaningful.
- Your goals come first: Before we start, we discuss your intentions so that the session aligns perfectly with your needs, whether that’s relaxation, strength, flexibility, or mindfulness.
- Consistent guidance: Over a series of sessions, I personally guide you every step of the way, creating a safe and trusting relationship that supports your full development in your yoga journey.
- Together with a partner or friends: You can also attend sessions with a partner, family member, or a small group of friends, keeping it personal while sharing the experience.
What to Expect from a Session
Every session is unique and tailored to your wishes and goals. We discuss your situation, needs, and intentions beforehand so that yoga can be a valuable addition to your life. Whether you are looking for a moment of relaxation, want to improve your physical health through yoga or Pilates, or aim to build greater mental resilience, I will support you as best as I can. All materials, including mats and props, are provided, so you can fully enjoy the experience.
