Both began their yoga journey out of necessity to better care for themselves and to develop more self-love and self-compassion. From the belief that self-care and yoga should be accessible to everyone\, they join forces to offer a unique and healing experience to anyone in need of special ‘me-time’. \nShalini teaches enjoyable and accessible hatha and flow classes and is also certified as a Thai Yoga Stretch masseuse.  She enjoys providing her participants with a special\, loving touch and massage at the end of her yoga classes. Additionally\, she offers individual yoga sessions combined with Thai Yoga Massage and stretching at Kas Shenbinti. \nDiana teaches trauma-informed yoga classes with a strong emphasis on creating body awareness\, respecting everyone’s boundaries and autonomy in the classes\, and regulating the nervous system. She teaches yin yoga at Kas Shenbinti and also offers restorative and hatha yoga classes at various locations in Curaçao. \nThai Yoga Stretch Massage explained \nThai Yoga Stretch massage is a traditional healing art that combines acupressure\, yoga\, and passive stretching. It’s often called “lazy yoga” as the practitioner guides you into yoga-like stretches while you remain passive. The benefits include improved flexibility\, stress relief\, enhanced energy flow\, and a sense of relaxation. The massage focuses on the body’s energy lines\, promoting physical and mental well-being.\n\nDuring a session\, the practitioner uses hands\, feet\, and body weight to apply pressure to specific points while guiding the recipient through assisted yoga stretches. This helps release tension\, improve flexibility\, and promote overall well-being by balancing energy flow in the body. \nYin Yoga explained \nYin Yoga is a mild approach to yoga\, focusing on the gentle stretching\, strengthening\, and loosening of the connective tissue\, fascia\, and ligaments in your body during the poses. Throughout the practice\, the stimulation of meridians occurs\, enhancing the flow of energy throughout the body. Transitioning smoothly from one pose to another at a calm and slow pace\, poses are sustained for a longer period.
